Are we already in week 1 of November – where did the year go?! And has it lived up to your expectations even though we started off with much trepidation about the uncertainty of what the global climate may bring?

I have to admit that on many levels, I’ve surpassed most of my goals for this year, which I firmly set in motion (with some flexibility for the unexpected), even though we were in lockdown at the onset of the year.

I’m a firm believer that a plan is better than no plan, even if it’s not fully executed. We need a barometer of measurement to create a guided and future-centric strategy, even if the data points to a “failure to launch” or “epic fail” results when actioned – all data is meaningful to forecast and predict the future (sans a force majeure).

To this end, during this particular time of year, I like to utilize a multi-layered approach to goal setting for the next calendar year, because I find that in order to better our results, we have to experiment with diversified resources, strategies, and perspectives.

One such resource is astrology. For those of you who are rolling your eyes, you may change that stance when you hear that many of the world’s most successful brands (people and corporate), utilize astrological insights to better plan their businesses.

Even the world’s most powerful people, like politicians and royalty, lean actively towards utilizing astrological knowledge, and have done so for centuries.

In fact, such resources were only available to the elite in yesterday societies, which makes you wonder, was this in part why they stayed in power – because they had access to alternative knowledge reserved for people in positions of power?
